State grant for library expansion

On Monday April 21, 2025 there was a ceremony in the community room to celebrate the state award of a one million dollar matching grant to our library.  Tony Hwang, our selectmen, and the library board were represented at this celebration.  Many Friends of the library came out to show our support and gratitude for this grant.

The grant matches the funds already held by the board and will enable the library to complete the expansion of the children's area planned in 2017 and create a glass wall to insulate the children's area from the adult and teen areas.
