On Friday June 20th, 2025 the Friends sponsored the return of the Story Book Parade with financial assistance from the Second Sunday Book Club. The participants stepped off from Samuel Staples Elementary School at 1:30pm and walked to the library where there were prizes for all and a raffle for gift cards to Barnes & Nobles and ice cream!
Our Grand Marshalls were Selectman Nick D'Addario and Thor our therapy dog. Many people came out to participate this fun event. At 3pm we sponsored Dancin' with Hoops a fun event for children and adults on the library lawn.
We are looking forward to another parade on Saturday, June 13th. Details to follow
