On Saturday June 13th the Friends and the library kicked off the 2026 summer reading program with a Bubble show in front of the library from 10-11AM.
The Storybook Parade from Samuel Staples Elementary School to the library was led by our Grand Marshals Dan Lent, First Selectman, and Thor the therapy dog.
Many people came and enjoyed these fun events. We look forward to doing a similar event next year
