The Friends of the Easton Public Library is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to sustaining and enhancing our library.
Specifically, The Friends of the Easton Public Library is a 501(c)(3) organization made up of local volunteers who raise money to help support the library.
Past fundraisers such as book sales and the craft beer tasting have provided financial support to the library in the form of programming, equipment, and much more. The group builds community among its members and the town by hosting fun events such as the Holiday Tree Lighting, the Storybook Parade, and more.
Membership
Become a member and help support the Easton Public Library.
Benefits of membership:
- Receive early notifications of Friends of the Easton Public Library events.
- With your permission, we will publish your name as a member.
- Pride in knowing you are helping our library continue its excellent service to our community.
- Membership is for a calendar year and is tax deductible. To become a member, check out our membership page HERE .
- Checks may be dropped off at the Circulation Desk at the Library or mailed to the Easton Public Library, 691 Morehouse Road, P.O. Box 2, Easton, CT 06612, Attn: Friends of the Easton Public Library.
Volunteer
We are always looking for enthusiastic, creative, and forward-thinking community members to join our group and help develop ways to fundraise for our wonderful library programs.
We generally meet the 4th Wednesday of alternate months in the library or community room. The next scheduled meetings are October 23rd, February 26th, and April 23rd. We decided not to have a meeting on Christmas. Please contact us at Friends@EastonLibrary.org to confirm the next meeting date and location.
